1. Donate your time by becoming a
volunteer or committee member
There are many volunteer positions available and
we look to fill our committee positions from our
pool of dedicated volunteers.
2. Donate needed equipment or
materials for our program areas
We are always in need of additional equipment to
expand or improve our operations.
Contact us for our latest equipment needs.
3. Make a monetary donation
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, which
means your donation in most cases is a tax
deduction.
We currently accept donations through Paypal or
through the mail (check only please). No donation is
too small, any amount will help us accomplish our
mission and expand our base of public support.

4. Purchase your marine aquarium
books through the Reef Stewardship Foundaton reading
list
The Foundation has compiled a recommended reading
list for background information on ocean literacy,
coral reefs and useful information on breeding
marine invertebrates in captivity. You can purchase
the books through the
Foundation's Recommended Reading List and a
portion of the sale will be returned to support the
Foundation at no extra cost to you.
5. Purchase your very own Reef
Stewardship Breeder's journal or coffee mug
We will soon have a page where you can purchase
Reef Stewardship Foundation logo items.
6. Donate or purchase livestock to
support breeding efforts
The Foundation will frequently accept livestock
donations to start new breeding efforts and supports
our Breeder community through a
broodstock, materials, and equipment exchange in
the Project DIBS community. Your donation or
purchase will help support our Breeder network and
allow it to continue to grow, further reducing the
need for wild collection.
7. Offer to help promote the
Foundation on your website or in your store
You can contact us to inquire about how we can
work together for mutual benefit. There are several
ways we can arrange advertisements that benefit
everyone involved.
8. Share your knowledge on the
discussion forums
Until recently there was no organized way for
people interested in breeding invertebrates or fish
to to talk freely about what they have learned. Now
that we can gather as a community, we should share
both our successes and failures through the
Project DIBS community forums.
9. Spread the word
Helping reduce our impact on coral reefs can only
be accomplished through a large community. Once you
have found the Reef Stewarship Foundation, spread
the word. Tell your friends, family, co-workers,
favorite teacher, fellow hobbyists, etc. The more
people we get working together, the easier it will
be to come up with solutions.
10. Think of number 10
The Reef Stewardship Foundation was founded on
the idea that no one person knows everything,
everybody has something to contribute. We are always
looking for suggestions on how to improve the
Foundation in ways our current community has not
suggested. Send us your ideas!
